Start a Climb

What is the work waiting on?

A Climb is one week, $8,000. One question, decided by the end of it, with the artifacts you need to act on it — or, when the direction is already settled, a week spent building it instead.

You do not need to know which of those yours is. That is what this is for.

You came from Climb. This is the same form either way — tell me what the work is waiting on and I will say which of the two fits, or whether neither does yet.

You

The bigger picture

The larger product, brand, launch, feature or company initiative this sits inside.

A deadline, an opportunity, a user problem, an internal disagreement, or the cost of waiting.

Worth being honest rather than decisive — “roughly” is the most common true answer, and it costs you nothing either way. The week is the same price whichever this is.

Practicalities

Several people can give input. One person has to be able to decide, and to be reachable during the week.

Two or three short meetings, whichever kind of week it is. I ask directly because this is the term the price makes easiest to underestimate.

Anything I should see

Send more than feels reasonable. Website, product, Figma, prototypes, research, analytics, strategy docs, half-finished thinking. All of it goes into your Domain’s library, which is what I read to arrive at Monday with a draft rather than a blank page.

Answer the branch question above and this will send.
